DISPLAYPORT 1.4 ACTIVE OPTICAL CABL 100M

Superior UHD Transmission with Active Optical Cables (AOC)

Active Optical Cables (AOCs) offer a decisive advantage over copper, solving the biggest challenge in high-end AV: reliably transmitting ultra-high-bandwidth signals over long distances. While bulky copper cables struggle to carry 4K60 beyond five meters, AOCs effortlessly support DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidths of 32.4 Gbps over hundreds of meters in a single, flexible cable.

Unmatched Quality and Simplicity

AOCs deliver truly outstanding video, providing 8K60 resolution and supporting the full DisplayPort 1.4 feature set. This includes HDR video for superb contrast, BT.2020 colorimetry, 21:9 cinema aspect ratio, and essential content protection like DPCP. For audio, the cables provide an immersive experience, supporting PCM 8-Channel, DTS-HD, and Dolby Digital True HD Surround Sound, with the capacity to transmit up to 32 audio channels.

Installation is simple: AOCs are a plug-and-play solution requiring no software, external power, or additional hardware - just connect them to your source and display. This all-in-one design ensures premium reliability compared to complex extender setups with multiple potential points of failure.

Installation Flexibility

AOCs enhance installation by being significantly thinner, lighter, and more flexible than copper. Their superior bend radius makes routing them through tight spaces easy, which is a major advantage for managing clutter in complex setups like video walls. For technicians, they are lightweight - a 10-meter AOC weighs less than 300 grams, compared to a kilogram for five meters of copper, which makes pulling cables through ceilings and walls much safer and easier.
