Quick Start Guide

The Kanguru UltraLock USB 3.0 External Solid State Drive is a high-speed USB 3.0 SSD that offers a generous amount of data storage. The UltraLock features a convenient physical write protect switch to toggle between read/write and read-only mode. This great feature when enabled can give you peace of mind to work safely on any computer the UltraLock is connected to. Students, travelers and researchers alike will appreciate the ability to read files on any school, library or hotel workstation without the worry of being possibly infected by a virus that could be lurking on a public computer. Additionally with Secure Firmware, it is a trusted device that protects networks and infrastructure from malware-based attacks.

Its lightweight design makes it small and light enough for backpacks, even pockets, and is a great, affordable way to store data. The protective rubber skin provides protection from jars and bumps, making it ideal for travel.

Additionally, having no moving parts reduces power consumption while improving performance, ruggedness and reliability. Reduced power consumption and improved ruggedness makes SSDs perfect for mobile computing.
