The iPath Controller is the core management system for building and controlling an Agility IP-Based KVM Matrix. It allows you to combine cross-point switching and point-to-point extension, creating a highly flexible KVM network that runs over your Local Area Network (LAN).

Centralized Management

iPath centrally manages all network components: transmitters, receivers, users, passwords, and access rights. It allows multiple remote users to access many host computers securely housed in a central location. Administrators utilize an intuitive, web-based interface to efficiently manage vast numbers of users and devices.

The system is highly flexible, supporting pixel-perfect HD video, audio, USB, and serial signals. By using standard Ethernet protocol, the Agility KVM system avoids proprietary technology, simplifying both implementation and future scalability.

Quick Deployment and Administration

iPath operates as a self-contained, compact server with its own DHCP capability. It is pre-loaded and deploys easily with just power and a network connection. All configuration of Agility units and users is done through the simple web browser interface.

To streamline large-scale administration, iPath uses a system of User Groups, Receiver Groups, and Channel Groups, allowing administrators to apply collective settings and permissions quickly.

The system also supports Active Directory, securely synchronizing user details, passwords, and group memberships from existing LDAP servers. This minimizes initial setup and simplifies ongoing updates.

Administrators maintain full control to manage user access, define hotkey sequences for login, monitor active users, and even force users to switch targets. A unique feature is the Virtual Transmitter, which allows an administrator to define channels where video/USB and audio can stream from different sources, or assign different access rights to channels from the same host PC.
