"The CyberMed M12 is an extremely unique medical computer in that it can be powered over Ethernet. While this device can be powered through a traditional outlet, the ability to power the device over an ethernet connection makes this device much more versatile.

However, the low power draw doesn't mean this healthcare computer can't get the job done. The CyberMed M12 features a powerful Intel Quad Core processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and stunning integrated Intel HD graphics on a 12-inch touchscreen that can accommodate modern healthcare applications.

Just because this is a PoE Medical Computer doesn't mean that we skimp on the optional integrated features that Cybernet is known for. Modern ports, like 4 USB 3.0 ports, as well as legacy ports, like RS-232 ports, allow for maximum flexibility when integrating these devices with other medical hardware.

HIPAA regulations were put into place to protect sensitive patient data. Traditional passwords are easily hacked, which is why so many hospitals are making two factor authentication the standard in their facilities. And with Federal guidelines being rolled out that require two factor authentication for processing digital prescriptions, the need for Imprivata approved devices is of paramount importance.

By integrating Imprivata certified components into all of our medical panel PCs, Cybernet eliminates the need for 3rd party dongles, providing an Imprivata Ready device right out of the box. Optional RFID, smart card, and fingerprint scanners can be added to the S series for secure single sign-on.

Additionally, an optional embedded privacy filter fits behind the touch glass meaning you never have to replace stick-on filters again. This is ideal for maintaining the privacy of medical records in open, high traffic areas and for staying in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Each medical panel PC has a three-in-one cable management cover with an optional 2D barcode scanner for medication identification.

All of Cybernet's medical panel computers are IP65 rated. The flat, sealed front bezel prevents all dust ingress, and can protect against a steady stream of water hitting the unit. This not only makes our medical computers extremely reliable, but it adds an extra layer of infection control protection.
