Zoom Certified PTZ Camera

The AW-UE40 supports UVC so it can be used with an existing USB-based system. A single LAN cable can be used to connect multiple camera units to a PC, allowing wire-saving installation and configuration of a simple and compact system. By using the free software, PTZ Virtual USB Driver, the AW-UE401 can be used as a web camera linkable to an online conference service via LAN cable even when the USB cable cannot reach the camera installation location such as a ceiling.

The AW-UE40 now features auto-tracking built into the camera. This means no additional hardware or software is needed to have one subject kept in frame. This technology uses body recognition to keep someone on camera. This is an easy and effortless way for corporations and higher education facilities to provide remote or hybrid meetings with little setup.

Auto Tracking Software for event customization and following the messenger

The AW-UE40 also supports Panasonic AW-SF100/AW-SF200 Auto Tracking Software, which uses facial recognition to follow a single presenter among other people on a single camera or multiple presenters to be in-frame using presets from multiple cameras. This is a great way to automatically capture lectures, presentations and hybrid events that change regularly. Since the software performs the camerawork to follow the speaker without the supervisor's detailed camera operation, realistic scenes can be recorded at all times.
